ILLINOIS CLASSICAL: The Evening Concert: FEBRUARY 8 – 9 –10 – 11 – 12 – 13, 2026 

Tuesday night August 19 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on “W-I-L-L Classical” it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. You’ll hear Massenet’s “Meditation from Thais” and Vaughan Williams’ “Tuba Concerto”. Also on the program Richard Strauss’ “Don Quixote”.

Tuesday night December 3 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL  90.9FM/HD1 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”.  You’ll hear principal players from the CSO play works that feature them as soloists, like Arnold Jacobs in the Vaughan Williams “Tuba Concerto”. 

Wednesday night February 8 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 you’ll hear Ravel’s “Bolero” as performed by the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra led by Alain Altinoglu.  Also on the program, Massenet’s “Meditation from ‘Thais’” and Ravel’s “Tzigane” with violinist Renaud Capucon.
