Illinois is 1-1 in the Big Ten after a 75-70 win over Ohio State at State Farm Center in Champaign.  The Illini lost a 15-point lead before recovering to get the win on New Year's Day.

Trevor Thompson scored 16 points and Ohio State survived a furious comeback by Illinois to win in overtime Thursday night, 68-63.
 

Marc Loving scored 27 points, including two late free throws, to lead Ohio State to a 75-73 win over visiting Illinois on Sunday.
