Wednesday night September 17 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on “W-I-L-L Classical” you’ll hear John Storgårds conduct the BBC Philharmonic in Holst’s “The Planets” and Grace-Evangeline Mason’s “Ablaze the Moon”.  Also on the program Beethoven’s “3rd Piano Concerto” with soloist Paul Lewis.

Wednesday night January 17 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 you’ll hear Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” and Aaron Copland’s “Piano Concerto” with soloist Paul Lewis and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra led by Domingo Hindoyan.  Also on the program Rachmaninoff’s “Symphonic Dances”.

Thursday night March 23 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the “Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra” led by guest conductor Sir Mark Elder. You’ll hear Mozart’s “12th Piano Concerto” featuring soloist Paul Lewis. Also on the program Richard Strauss’ “Death and Transfiguration”.

Tuesday night October 18 at 7:00 on the Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”.  Paul Lewis is the soloist in two of Beethoven’s piano concertos, the “1st” and the “4th”. Sir Andrew Davis guest conducts. Also on the program music by Sir Michael Tippett.

Monday night October 3 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. From the archives you’ll hear Richard Strauss’ “Don Juan” and Schumann’s “2nd Symphony”. Christoph von Dohnanyi guest conducts. Also on the program, Brahms’ “1st Piano Concerto” with soloist Paul Lewis.
