ILLINOIS CLASSICAL: The Evening Concert: MARCH 1 – 2 –3 – 4 – 5 – 6, 2026 

Sunday night October 26 at 6:00 on the “Evening Concert” on “Illinois Classical” you’ll hear music by Vaughan Williams and Bridge on the “Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center”. At 7:00 you’ll hear a program called “Dia de los Muertos” on “Fiesta”.

Monday night August 11 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on “W-I-L-L Classical” it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. You’ll hear Holst’s “The Planets”, and Vaughan Williams’ “Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis” and the “Fantasia on Greensleeves”. Also on the program Elgar’s “Cockaigne Overture”.

Monday night March 24 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on W-I-L-L 90.9 FMHD1 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. From the Philharmonic’s vast archives, you’ll hear Copland’s “Appalachian Spring”, Vaughan Williams’ “Fantasia on Greensleeves”, Debussy’s “La Mer” and Ravel’s “Tzigane”.
