In this week's Legal Issues in the News, Sean Anderson of the University of Illinois College of Law follows up a commentary he wrote in November about governors rejecting refugees - this time in Indiana. 

Historically, Illinois has been a leading state in refugee resettlement, but lately it seems less welcoming to some.

Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth played to her strengths at a campaign stop in Champaign Tuesday. 

Gov. Bruce Rauner Tuesday described Donald Trump's call for a ban on Muslims entering the U.S. as "an extreme action" and "fundamentally counter to American values."  But he maintained his stance on Syrian refugees entering Illinois, and now Iraqis as well.
