Eight people were killed and "numerous" others injured Tuesday afternoon after a motorist drove onto a busy pedestrian and bicycle path in Manhattan. Police have arrested one suspect in the incident, which unfolded near the World Trade Center, and they say there are "no others outstanding."

Police say six victims and three suspects are dead in the apparent terror attack in the heart of London. A vehicle veered off the road and mowed down pedestrians on London Bridge, and witnesses told of men with large knives stabbing passersby at nearby Borough Market.  

A man being sought for the truck attack on a Berlin street market was shot and killed Friday by police in a suburb of the northern Italian city of Milan, according to the Italian interior minister.
