Tuesday night October 31 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”.  Martin Helmchen is the soloist in Mozart’s 25th Piano Concerto. Also on the program, Shostakovich’s 8th Symphony. Vladimir Jurowski guest conducts.

Wednesday night January 4 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the first program in a new series: “Orchestras from the European Broadcasting Union”. Vladimir Jurowski leads the London Philharmonic in Enescu’s “2nd Symphony”. Also on the program Elgar’s “Violin Concerto” with soloist Julia Fischer. 

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The Berlin Music Festival” with the Berlin Philharmonic led by Vladimir Jurowski. You’ll hear Beethoven’s “5th Symphony”, Webern’s “Orchestral Variations” and Webern’s orchestration of Bach’s “Fugue in Six Voices from The Musical Offering”.
