Yes, Corn Sweat exists! And it happens all the time

Reginald Hardwick/IPM News
In our third episode, we talked about "Corn Sweat." We learned how it can make Midwest summers more uncomfortable, and sometimes more dangerous. The co-hosts are Maddie Stover, a doctoral student in Physics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Steve Nesbitt, professor of Climate, Meteorology, and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and Andrew Pritchard, meteorologist for Nutrien Agriculture Solutions and Illinois Public Media. They talked with Carl Bernacchi, professor in crop sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Carl is an expert on impacts of atmospheric and climatic change on crop species important to the Midwest.
