  • Many Illinois residents are reporting issues signing up for the coronavirus vaccine. The 21st show spoke with Illinois Department of Public Health Director, Dr. Ngozi Ezike about those issues.

  • A coalition of Illinois medical professionals is calling on the governor to change how people get COVID-19 vaccine appointments.

  • The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District announced yesterday it is expanding vaccine eligibility to all essential frontline workers who work or live in Champaign County.

In today's deep dive, the second story in our four-part series on how people with disabilities are faring during the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, we hear from an accomplished distance runner. It is part of the Move to Include Initiative, which focuses on people with disabilities and the issues they face. The project is funded by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
