‘One good eye is enough’. That’s what some inmates in Illinois prisons say they were told by medical staff when they sought treatment for eye surgery.
Other inmates alleged similar treatment by medical staff according to court affidavits, that they were told one eye was sufficient to go about their daily activities in prison.
