Earlier this month, a governor appointed taskforce released recommendations aimed at making schools more supportive and safer for transgender and gender nonconforming students. We’ll hear from several members of the taskforce about the work that still needs to be done. 

And, advocates for parole reform in Illinois equate life in prison to a death sentence.
