August 9 marked ten years since Michael Brown was shot and killed by a member of the Ferguson, Missouri Police Department.

In the 10 years that have followed, there have been countless others who have been killed at the hands of police. Many in Illinois are still grappling with the death of Sonya Massey at the hands of a former Sangamon County Sheriff Deputy.

A journalism professor and a representative from a St. Louis-based organization that's focused on legal advocacy and civil rights lawsuits join the program to discuss developments and challenges that the country has faced in the past decade in regard to police reform and racial justice.
