The American Eclipse of 1878

 

Aruba's 1998 solar eclipse was the first one that David Baron attended. He figured it would be a spectacle, but did not expect it to change his life. Once the moon shadowed the Sun and the sky darkened, the world made sense for Baron. He was humbled by the vastness of space and insignificance of our planet, while simultaneously feeling empowered by it.

Now, he's seen 8 solar eclipses in total, and plans to view his 9th today.
