It’s been two years since the U.S. Supreme Court ended the constitutional right to an abortion. Following the legal shift, access to abortion in many states — particularly in the South — has become very restricted. It's made Illinois become a magnet for people seeking to get access to abortion services.

Today, we are taking a step back to look at the state of abortions in Illinois and beyond.

We'll talk about who is coming to Illinois to seek abortion services, how groups like the Chicago Abortion Fund are funded and what pro-abortion groups hope for the future.

Megan Jeyifo

Executive Director, Chicago Abortion Fund
