Anti Puerto Rico comments, newspaper non-endorsements, and voting to retain Illinois judges

 

It's our Friday politics reporter roundtable: One of the latest controversies involving former President Donald Trump involves anti Puerto Rico comments that stand-up comic Tony Hinchcliffe said at a Trump rally in New York. Also, Trump raged against one of his most prominent intra-party critics while campaigning Thursday night in Arizona. “She’s a radical war hawk. Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, OK?," as reported by CNN. Meanwhile, vice president Kamala Harris made the case for her presidency at the the Ellipse with the White House lit up behind her. Plus, we talked about choosing judges and whether to retain them for another term.
