Are Illinois Prisoners Receiving Enough COVID-19 Protection?

The number of incarcerated individuals testing positive for the coronavirus is climbing with each day. One hundred seventy-eight staff members and 231 inmates people, including both incarcerated individuals and staff, have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Illinois prisons.

A survey of Illinois prisoners on coronavirus in the state Department of Corrections indicates that almost half of the inmates have not received access to cleaning materials from IDOC to sanitize their cells in the past week. Jenny Vollen-Katz talked about that.
