Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin, Police Chief Kristen Zimen, and Police Commander Keith Cross tested positive last month for the coronavirus. All three officials from the state's second-largest city have since recovered, but took to Facebook recently to share their experience and let the public know the virus is serious. Mayor Irvin joined The 21st to discuss his frightening battle with the illness, testing availability and whether testing positive for COVID-19 changed Aurora's approach to addressing the pandemic.
