Recently, psychoactive drugs, such as psilocybin from mushrooms and LSD for example, are being studied by scientists for their use in the treatment of anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. In recent years, there’s been a renewed interest in the mental health benefits of these drugs, and some states are working to decriminalize them.
