Along Interstate 80 near the Quad Cities, a bridge connecting Illinois and Iowa is set to be replaced. However, instead of destroying the old one, an environmentalist wants to turn it into a new national park — with one lane converted for the use of people, and the other given over to bison. The 21st spoke to the President of Living Lands & Waters about the details of the Bison Bridge plan.
