Natural Playgrounds & Navigating Risks

Hoose Elementary School in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois has a new playground coming to it. However, there won't be the typical swings and monkey bars — instead there will be boulders, streams and rocks that encourage kids to navigate risks. The 21st spoke with the international team of designers behind it.
