Third-party and write-in candidates have been garnering attention this election season both in Illinois and on the national level.
A state policy expert and the head of an organization that advocates for ethical practices and fairness in elections discuss the challenges candidates outside the two-party system face and some of the reforms that've been considered to give third parties in particular more representation in our politics.
