Early voting for the general election on November 8, 2022 starts in Illinois on September 29. Across the country, it can seem as if county clerks and other officials face more obstacles than ever in getting out the vote. There’s the denialism and accusations of fraud from people who believe the lie that Donald Trump won the 2020 presidential election.
