COVID-19 continues to spread across Illinois. There is hope, however, in the form of a vaccine. So far, 1 in 45 Illinoisians have received their first shot, and eligibility is expanding. Meanwhile, some regions of the state are also on pace to see COVID restrictions eased this Friday.
To speak more about the pandemic and vaccine hesitancy are two officials from public health departments in different parts of Illinois.
