Durbin discusses Russia’s war on Ukraine and Supreme Court hearings
US Senator Dick Durbin (D-Illinois) has been a key figure in recent events. He visited America's NATO allies in Europe in the days before Russia invaded Ukraine. Next week, he will chair the confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson. Durbin also serves as the Senate Majority Whip, the second-highest-ranking position among the Senate Democrats. He also serves as Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee and sits on the Appropriations and Agriculture Committees.
