Foreign policy and the presidential election: Panel discussion analyzes Russia-Ukraine conflict
As the 2024 presidential election approaches, it’s worth remembering that one of the most important things a president deals with — and the area where she or he has the most control — is foreign policy.
Today’s show was recorded before a live audience last week in Champaign, Illinois. It’s an excerpt of a two-hour panel discussion and part of a series of events called “Undebates” — deep dives into policy areas, with an emphasis on how it relates to American politics and the upcoming election.
This panel includes several geopolitics experts weighing in on the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, and how Kamala Harris and Donald Trump would handle the conflict.
