The Show Must Go On: Music Students Conduct Virtual Performances

For college students studying music, end-of-year recitals and concerts are not only celebatory milestones but also mandatory requirements to earn their degrees. 

Some music students at Illinois State University's Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts will be conducting capstone concerts via livestream or pre-recorded video. Others are opting to hold live performances in the fall. 

College musicians aren't the only ones affected: The ISU String Project offers after-school lessons to children in the community.  

Students from ISU's fine arts school and the String Project performed on The 21st Show over Zoom.
