From Medgar Evars' murder in 1963 to the attempted killing of Ronald Reagan in 1981, America went through a period of politically motivated killings, hijackings and bombings. Then, that chapter in American history seemed to end.

There have been new horrors — school and other mass shootings, for example. Now, that other sort of danger — political violence — is back on the rise. It's natural for kids to have some questions: Why would someone shoot at Rump? Are we in danger?

We'll talk with a clinical psychologist about how to talk to young people about this topic.
