How fungal disease is impacting corn crops in Illinois

Harvest season has arrived in central Illinois. It's shaping up to be a good year for corn, but there's still a chance that disease might affect crop yield. That's because fungi such as Tar Spot and Southern Rust are making appearances much later in the year than usual. A farmer based in Monmouth and an expert specializing in crop sciences join the program.
