Project 2025 was compiled by the Heritage Foundation as a plan for the next Republican administration. The 900-page policy plan was written by two former Trump administration officials with the help of more than 100 conservative groups. Despite these ties, former president and current Republican presidential nomine Donald Trump claims to “Not know anything about it.”

We’re going to dig into Project 2025 and explore what some of the specific conservative policies could mean for blue states such as Illinois. First, we’ll take a look at what the plan says about reproductive health.

A doctor specializing in obstetrics and gynecology as well as the head of non-partisan research organization that advocates for reproductive health join the 21st today.
