Illinois expands lead testing for children
The metal known as lead is all around us, but it is poisonous. We've really come to understand the harm it can cause in the past few decades.
Just last week the Illinois Department of Public Health added ZIP codes representing parts of 60 Illinois counties to a list of areas where children have to be tested for lead exposure.
Today, we'll talk about what lead poisoning can look like and why lead testing is needed.
