It's time for our Friday Reporter Roundtable, today we'll focus on Springfield and Peoria.
To start things off in Springfield, we'll cover updates on a story regarding a Springfield resident being charged with running houses of prostitution. Then, we'll hear the conclusion of the Illinois State Police's investigation into a shooting that occurred at the Sangamon County Juvenile Detention Center. There's also push from Springfield firefighters for a city-operated ambulance service.
After, we'll cover Peoria Mayor Rita Ali's support of their police chief, and updates on USPS' decision to move Peoria's mail sorting operations to the Chicago suburbs.
