Illinois News Roundup - April 26, 2024
It's time for our Friday Reporter Roundtable, today we'll focus on Rockford and DeKalb, and the Quad Cities.
To start things off in the Quad Cities, we'll discuss a recent report that states the region would experience a lot more flooding, with more severe and frequent storms. Then, we'll hear about how doctors in Bettendorf completed a treatment that's never been done before, and how speech therapists throughout Illinois say it's been difficult trying to persevere in their field, due to low insurance reimbursement rates.
After, we'll hear about recent controversies in the Davenport City Council revolving around its interim city administrator, and close off with a look towards Bix 7's 50th anniversary race.
