Illinois Olympian Aisha Praught Leer
Aisha Praught Leer was raised in Moline, Illinois, ran track at Illinois State and now runs as part of the Jamaican National Team. In 2018, Praught Leer won a gold medal in the steeplechase at the Commonwealth Games in Australia. And in 2019 she made the world championship finals in the 1500 meter.
Praught Leer joined The 21st to talk about what training with a group and what that was like during the pandemic as well as running for Jamaica.
