The new movie Inside Out 2 focuses on the new emotions running through the mind of a teenage girl. In this sequel, new emotions are brought to life. We're all likely to recognize nostalgia and anxiety, but what is ennui? And how do we help the kids around us with their own emotions?
Today, we are joined by Dr. Kyle Boerke, a clinical child psychologist.
First, we'll talk about what ennui is and how it might manifest in our lives.
Then, we'll learn why it is important to put a label on your feelings. We'll also discuss how parents can have conversations with their children about their emotions.
