Interview: Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton Addresses Police Reform, COVID-19 & Cannabis

In the weeks since George Floyd was killed under the knee of a Minneapolis police officer, protests — mostly peaceful — have continued across America and across Illinois. Some of those events have featured Illinois’ top political leaders — including Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton (D-Illinois).

She joined us to speak about calls to “defund the police,” the power of police unions and the status of investments in Black and Brown communities that are meant to flow from the legalization of marijuana.
