Interview: Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL)
On November 9, 2020, the state confirmed there's been more than 10,000 new cases of COVID-19 in Illinois. On Monday, Gov. J.B. Pritzker imposed additional restrictions in southern Illinois and several suburban counties — such as limiting gatherings to 10 people rather than 25. Some restaurants and bars in parts of the state also continue defying the governor’s orders aimed at limiting the spread of coronavirus disease.
Meanwhile President Donald Trump and many Republicans in Congress continue to reject media projections that Joe Biden is the President-elect. To talk about this and more, The 21st was joined by Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL0.
