New book tells the history of Zion, Illinois, and its nuclear power plant

Higher Power: An American Town’s Story of Faith, Hope, and Nuclear Energy is Casey Bukro's new book. Back in 1970, Bukro became one of the first environmental reporters in the nation. He would eventually spend two years at Zion's power station, learning about its employees and procedures. This book tells the story of Zion, Illinois, including its formation, its power plant, and the future of nuclear energy in general.
