One year later: What has changed since the elimination of cash bail in Illinois?

It’s now been one year since cash bail was eliminated in Illinois, through the Pretrial Fairness Act, and up to its elimination, it was a subject that proved to be quite controversial.

Officials and experts working directly with the law weigh in on crime, how courts and attorneys are adapting to the change, and what has happened to jail poulations since the elimination.
