It’s been one year and one day since President Trump returned to office. In the past year, we have seen deep cuts to the federal workforce, ending funding for public broadcasting, and deploying federal agents to American cities with helmets, facemasks, and high-powered rifles. But what about the U.S. image abroad? 

A political science professor and a former U.S. ambassador weigh in on America's place in the world from recent rhetoric around Greenland to policies toward Russia and Ukraine.
