Perspective on SCOTUS nomination: Takenya Nixon
This week, the US Senate Judiciary Committee is continuing to consider the nomination of federal Judge Kentanji Brown Jackson to the US Supreme Court. A committee vote is scheduled for next week, with the full Senate expected to vote after that. Today on The 21st, we got a couple of different perspectives from Illinois on Judge Brown Jackson’s nomination and confirmation hearings, starting with an assistant public defender from Cook County.
