Politics News Roundup - June 14, 2024

It's time for our weekly politics roundtable. 

A lot of our focus this week will be on the U.S. Supreme Court.

First, we'll talk about the Court's ruling in a case about the abortion pill mifepristone, and the reactions from Democrats and Republicans. 

This morning, the Court also struck down a ban on what are called "bump stocks" that allow semi-automatic rifles to fire much more rapidly than they otherwise would. One was used at the Las Vegas concert shooting in 2017, which is the deadliest in American history. We'll talk about the decision and its impact.
