Pygmalion 2020 Preview

Facebook/Pygmalion Fest

Since 2005, Pygmalion Festival in Champaign Urbana has drawn some of the biggest indie music acts from around the country to central Illinois. Artists ranging from Yo La Tengo to Janelle Monea have made appearances at Pygmalion over the years. But for the first time, the festival will be all virtual because of the pandemic. The good news is you don’t have to be in Champaign-Urbana to catch the shows, and they’re completely free.

The 21st talks to the founder of the Pygmalion Festival to hear more about this year's lineup.
