Rental Housing Prices at an All Time High

Real estate service Redfin, in a report earlier this year, found the median rent for apartments on the market across the country broke $2,000 a month for the first time in May. There are many reasons for rent increases right now. Inflation plays a role, but so does the housing market. High-interest rates and limited availability are driving up home prices, and that’s forcing many people who want to buy a home to keep renting.
