Reporter Roundtable: RNC Preview

Republicans have gathered in Charlotte, North Carolina, for a limited national convention this week. The RNC will be looking a little different than last week's Democratic National Convention, as there will be a live roll call. On our first segment, we talked about what the convention is like during a regular year, and what favorite stories stick out from past RNCs.

John from Rockford says: "Both conventions are nothing more than elaborate, glitzy dog and pony shows. I do not waste my time on them. I want substance, not hype. Shakespeare might have described them best in the words of his character, Macbeth: It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."
