Reporter Roundup: Illinois State University makes budget cuts and John Deere settles lawsuit for $10M

Moline based John Deere is paying nearly $10 million dollars to settle charges that include "commercial bribery." And a new plant in Buffalo, Iowa aims to convert landfill waste into energy to make cement.
