You don't have to go to the Department of Motor Vehicles for everything anymore and there's a new mobile ID coming that will add a level of convenience. Meanwhile, there's also a deadline looming over Real ID, the federal form of identification that was meant to set a standard level of information to gain access to federal buildings or flights, that has origins going back to 2005. We talked with Illinois Secretary of State about all of this.
