Setting the record straight on the Safe-T Act
Lately, you may have been hearing conflicting information on Illinois’ Safety, Accountability, Fairness and Equity-Today, or Safe-T, Act. Beginning Jan. 1, 2023, cash bail will be abolished in Illinois. But critics of the law say it will put violent criminals back on the streets.
