At the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, access to testing for COVID-19 was limited. Testing centers would only test those who were showing symptoms or had traveled to certain parts of the world. Now, months later, testing is widely accessible in Illinois. Regardless of whether an individual shows symptoms or not, they are able to get tested for free.
