SIU scientists create edible cookies from plastic waste
There hasn't been much in the form of advances in cookie recipes — until today.
Scientists from Southern Illinois University Carbondale have developed an edible cookie made of plastic. They're called µBites (MicroBites) and are made using biomass waste and plastic.
Today, we are joined by the author of the study to learn more about why the cookies were created.
