Students create podcasts to highlight the conservation work happening at the Illinois Department of Natural Resources

Alexandra Harmon-Threatt joins the 21st to speak about her conservation biology course at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She'll share why she decided to incorporate a podcast project into the course curriculum this year, and how the Illinois Department of Natural Resources supported the students. 

Ilana Zeitzer and Greta Kellman, two students in the conservation biology course, join us to speak about their experience creating their podcasts. We'll learn about the topics they focused on, and how the project has changed how they think about conservation biology.

Lastly, they'll share some advice for students who may be interested in taking on a similar project.
